Meridian is the platform Make IT Happen builds and uses to deliver your transformation and run your managed service. It is how our engineers capture your estate, decide and deploy on evidence, and keep it healthy afterwards. Meridian Transform supports our transformation delivery; Meridian Operate supports our managed services. You get the outcome, and a clear view of the work.
What Meridian lets our team do for you
Our engineers use Meridian to carry your estate from the first read-only capture to a healthy, governed cloud-managed environment, without losing the thread between the two. Discover, Decide and Deploy are Meridian Transform, which supports our transformation delivery. Operate is Meridian Operate, which supports our managed services. Together they sit underneath our Assess, Optimise, Migrate, Run lifecycle.
Scout, Meridian's capture tool, walks your Group Policy estate read-only with zero network egress: every policy object and every setting, plus a register of anything deliberately skipped. Our engineers then bring in your application inventory from the management tools you already run (Configuration Manager, Intune or a CMDB export). Discovery you can hand to an auditor, not a best guess.
Two questions, in this order: can it move? More importantly, should it? Our engineers use Meridian to map thousands of captured settings against Microsoft's own Settings Catalog, find conflicts and duplicates, and record a decision for every one: keep, migrate, re-engineer or retire. You review and approve those decisions with us, with the evidence beside each one, not in a spreadsheet.
Approved configuration goes out through staged, approval-gated releases with rollback. Where a setting has no native Intune equivalent, our engineers build the alternative (scripted configuration or detect-and-remediate packs) and pilot it before production.
Under our managed service, Meridian keeps watch for our team: continuous configuration-drift detection with alerting and controlled restore, update posture across your rings, and versioned history so change is never a mystery. The estate stays as built.
What you see as a client
You do not run anything to see what we are doing. Ask about any live setting and we can trace the full line in Meridian: the deployment that shipped it, the approval that authorised it, the decision behind it, the security baseline it satisfies and the Group Policy object it came from. Regulated clients get an audit trail, not a leap of faith.
How it is run
Meridian is not a product you buy, install or run. Make IT Happen builds it, runs it as a service in Microsoft Azure UK regions, secures it, backs it up and keeps it current, so there is nothing to install in your tenant and nothing for your team to patch.
Our engineers work in Meridian on your behalf, through the transformation and into the managed service afterwards. You get the delivery portal, the evidence and the reporting without operating anything.
Hosted in UK Azure, encrypted in transit and at rest and backed up, with your data held in its own isolated scope. No client can see another's estate.

How you get it
Meridian comes with every Make IT Happen engagement. You do not license it or run it: our team uses it to deliver your transformation, and to run your managed service if you keep one with us. You work with its outputs from day one: the discovery evidence, the decision registers, the deployment reports and your delivery portal. When the transformation ends, you choose: keep your estate under our managed service (run with Meridian Operate), or export your data and take it with you.
